AMAKS Hotels & Resorts is a wealthy and perspective investor spending much money on the chain development.  The entire investments in reconstruction and development of the chain property currently amount to already more than 20 million US dollars. The expansion of the chain positively influences the labour markets in the regions where the Company works. Throughout the years the chain has already provided job to more than 2000 people.
First and foremost, the Company develops of hospitality infrastructure all over Russia as well as the formation of a regulated tourist service market in the areas where the Company operates. Tourist service demand increase is one of the main goals of the corporate promotion policy.
“AMAKS Hotels & Resorts” uses advanced hospitality technologies. Work done by the Company managing personnel results in a permanent development and expansion of the chain where each hotel is a highly profitable hospitality property. The Company operates the best local properties in the field of hospitality working in various segments of hotel industry. These properties include business hotels, traveller´s complexes, and health resorts. A distinct feature of the chain is that it operates multipurpose properties as each hotel is a modern recreation centre for the guests. Such approach is surely very promising but at the same time requires substantial investment.
The chain continues an intensive expansion.
One of the first hotels of the chain was hotel “Tourist” in the city of Perm. When it was bought the property was an unpromising enterprise with a negative financial balance. In a relatively short period of time the property was renovated and began to offer a much better service and has by now turned to one of the best regional hospitality complexes renamed as “AMAKS Premier-hotel”. At the moment the property continues to increase its room inventory capacities as well as the range of additional services offered to the guests. The hotel has increased its room inventory by 20%, launched a top class restaurant facility, modern spa and fitness centre, introduced a broad range of additional services and finished reconstructing all the contact premises according to 4**** hotel standards under international hotel classification system. In January, 2004 the hotel won “the best service” award in the regional hospitality contest. On the 27th of October, 2006 the hotel opened its entertainment centre.
One of the most promising properties in the chain is “AMAKS Golden Ring” in the city of Vladimir, a large hospitality complex on the territory of Golden Ring tourist itinerary. The chain is reconstructing the entire complex, including room inventory, contact zones, food and beverage facilities, and entertainment centre. The area of the largest four star hotel (under international hotel classification system) on the territory of the Golden Ring itinerary is more than 8000 square metres (15 floors). Apart from that, the adjacent territory hosts the largest modern entertainment and family leisure centres of the entire Vladimir region and a spa and fitness centre.
On September 25, 2006 “AMAKS Golden Ring” hospitality complex was opened. After the reconstruction the 15 floor building of the property fully corresponds to modern quality standards.
In February, 2004 the Company began to operate another large hospitality property, this time - hotel Sputnik in the city of Voronezh. Now the hotel is under step-by-step reconstruction. The territory of the largest hospitality property (premises area of more than 7000 square metres, area of the adjacent territory of more than 22500 square metres) in the entire Voronezh region is planned to host a three star hotel, the largest multipurpose entertainment centre regionwide, and a modern countryside family leisure centre. You already have an opportunity to see the interior of fully reconstructed and reequipped rooms. Contact zones, restaurant, and the conference hall are being fully reconstructed plus an internet café and a business centre are under construction and an outdoor café is also planned to be opened.
In April, 2004 the chain got another large hotel, this time – hotel “Yuzhnaya” in Belgorod. The property is planned to be operated as a three star object. Thanks to the adoption of high quality standards, training of personnel, and quality control by the managing company the hotel has already become one of the leaders in the field of hospitality in the entire Belgorod region. These achievements are confirmed by many letters of thanks and diplomas awarded to the property.
Hospitality and Entertainment Complex in the Moscow region
On December 5, 2006 the Company purchased a property in Podolsky district of the Moscow region 26 kilometres away from the capital. The chain plans to build an all-new multipurpose four star hospitality complex.
Acqusition of the complex in the Moscow region will allow the chain to expand its activities on new territories and enter the new Moscow market.
Podolsky disctrict where the new complex is planned to be constructed is situated to the south west of Moscow. Picturesque landscapes, vast woodlands, and a multitude of water basins favour climatic treatment. The district also has several mineral springs.
The construction plan for the new multipurpose complex implies unique architectural solutions. In 1991 the project was given a governmental award for original architectural ideas, developed with the participation of famous architects, designers as well as experts from the world of art and culture, and originally planned to be built as a recreation centre for celebrities from art and culture.
The complex is situated on a picturesque piece of land along the bank of Pakra river and currently occupies 16000 square metres.
In the course of rescructuring the complex into a multipurpose hospitality and entertainment property its area is planned to be extended up to 20000 square metres.
The total amount of money planned to be invested into the project by “AMAKS Hotels & Resorts” is more than 20 mln US dollars.
When reconstructed the country hotel will offer a wide spectrum of services including:
  • cosy rooms ranging from standard ones to deluxe suites (accommodation inventory planned to be 230 rooms);
  • health and Spa centre that is planned to occupy more than 1000 square metres and comprise more than 40 offices;

Project is implemented under the guidance of Alexey Vasilyevich Mokeyev, a leading expert in the field of resort development on the Moscow hospitality service market.

«ZLATOUSTYE», Ust-Kachka

Ust-Kachka, a community in the Permsky kray, is planned to be the area where “Zlatoustye” housing complex will be constructed.

As the authors of the complex point out, the target customers of the townhouses are residents of Perm. A certain distance from the capital of the region is compensated by the fact that the complex will be conveniently located in a resort environmentally favourable area near a river and relict forests and at the same time within easy reach of important highways.
One of the key advantages of the townhouse complex will be a developed city-like infrastructure and easy reach of a nationwide famous resort. Water supply and drainage as well as heat and power supply are provided thanks to connection to the central water, heat, and power networks of Ust-Kachka. Apart from common life sustenance systems “Zlatoustye” will have a fast Internet connection, digital television, computerized security systems, separate drive to the complex area, high quality roads, etc.
Dmitry Tulyankin, project manager, says that as far as architectural solutions, materials applied, construction quality, location and a lot of other factors go the townhouses meet the needs of the most demanding customers.
A good supplement to the townhouse is a Paradise Centre entertainmemt property opened by the Company on the 1st of December, 2006. Entertainment centre has several restaurants, a bowling and night club, bars, and billiard halls.
At for now, the first section of the complex is under construction which is planned to be finished in the autumn of 2007. The entire community will be constructed and accepted by the December of 2008. The works are being performed as scheduled.
