The “Azov” hotel stands right bin the historical part of the city 35 km away from Azov sea coast. The room inventory has 79 single and double units that can accommodate up to 150 guests and give them a splendid view of the delta of river Don, vast steppes, and old ramparts.We provide excellent opportunities for your business meetings, accommodation and food for guests as well as things necessary for organising incentive tours. You can rent for use our conference hall that can accommodate up to 120 people and has all the equipment needed in the course of a business meeting and our cosy banquet hall for 30 seats. You also always welcome at our restaurant (“Petrovsky”) with 170 seats and a wide choice of meals of Cossack, Russian proper, and European cuisines. Aprt from that, we organise coffee-pauses and business lunches as well live shows and dancing parties in the hotel night club “Gorod”.
If you want to be in good shape you will always be welcome at our spa and fitness centre and have a game of billiards in our billiard hall.
The most famous sights of the region are:
- ramparts and Alexeevskiye Gates – interesting examples of 17th war engineering that saw the siege of cossacks from Don and Azov offences of Peter the Great. Nearby memorial boards and monuments emphasise historical connection of various epochs.
- powder cellar;
- regional history museum exhibiting things and memorabilia reflecting the rich history of Azov. The museum occupies a beautiful building, former headquarters of the city board, and three new buildings;
- house museum in the honour of R.L. Samoylovich who was a famous researcher of Arctic and Antarctic regions.
