The “Kurgan” hotel is located on the bank of river Tobol. The room inventory has 45 units of various categories where we can accommodate up to 120 guests at a time. Apart from lodging proper you can also resort to the services of the hotel barber’s and tailoring shop, guarded car park and sauna, and a post office nearby. During the recent years “Blue Lakes” located in Eletsky pine forest have become very popular with our guests.

Kurgan is the first city in Siberia built along the railway route “Moscow-Vladivostok” ans is frequently called a gateway to Siberia. Nowadays Kurgan is a large industrial city also well-known as a centre of medicine. The latter fact is first of all related to the life and work og Gavriil Abramovich Elizarov, famous doctor, who had close ties with our city. Kurgan is also home to more than 30 museums which have a unique history and expositions. The most famous of them are the Decembrists´and the local history musuems. Other sights include the Drama Theatre, Memorial in the honour of those who fell for the country in the Great Patriotic War.
