The 12 storey “AMAKS Congress-hotel” stands on the intersection of the main streets in Rostov-on-Don just 5 km away from the city’s railway and main bus stations and 10 km from the aeroport.
Trip to the main sights of Rostov takes only 15 minutes whereas most of the shops, exhibition halls and children’s recreation park are located in Lenin str., and M. Nagibin prospekt.


The most famous sights of the region are:

  • Nativity Cathedral in Rostov-on-Don (the iconostasis is a replica of the one in the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow);
  • monument to St. Dimitry of Rostov, patron saint of the city;
  • monument of Glory (a coupled stele with a 100 ton ship bow-like roofing. The side of the monument facing the Don is decorated with a sculpture in the honour of goddess Nica whereas the side opposite the Theatre square is decorated with a replica of a 1st degree order of victory in the Great Patriotic War. The lower part of the stele is decorated with a sinter pattern reflecting such themes as “Front”, “Rear”, “Peace”;
  • park sculptures and monument of the Rostov embankment (monument to M. A. Sholokhov, sculptures known as “Ded Shchukar” and “Nakhalyonok”, a sculpture of a young female from Rostov erected to symbolise our city’s hospitality, monument to A.M. Gork, bust to F.F. Ushakov, and a sculptural composition called “Stepan Razin and his squad”.)
